Untitledby Secret Squirrel
“Julian!” a female voice called. Julian turned over and buried his face into his pillow. “Julian!” the voice yelled again, this time more shrill. Julian slowly opened his eyes, as a figure rushed into his room. Quickly the figure opened the windows and Julian’s eyes caught the light. Julian groaned and turned over. “Come on pookie get up,” the voice said again. “Rebecca, I want to sleep,” Julian mumbled. “Nonsense, your supposed to be the early riser so why do you want to sleep in today?” Mainly because today is our wedding day Julian thought. Rebecca groaned and grabbed Julian’s covers, and pulled. The next thing Julian new he was lying naked in front of Rebecca. “Rebecca!” “Good now that your up get dressed, I’ll be waiting for you down stairs.” With that said Rebecca left and left Julian to himself. In a couple minutes Julian was down stairs sitting across from Rebecca at the table. “Julian?” “Yes, dear?” “Why is the third guest room locked?” “What?” “Well, I went there this morning and the room was locked.” Julian thought then all of a sudden it came to him; it was yesterday. ~*~ “Julian my patient needs to recoup in her own house,” Eve stated. “But she doesn’t live here anymore,” Julian challenged. “Where else can she go?” Eve questioned. Julian shrugged. “See, she has no where let her stay her tonight at lest,” Eve asked. “Damn!” Julian heard Ivy yell in the distance. “Get out of my house!” Rebecca yelled at Ivy. Julian looked at Eve, and in to her pleading eyes. “All right, one night only,” Julian answered. Damn me for loving her, it’s too hard to say no. Julian smirked as he thought of what happened next. It was one of his best schemes if he said so himself. “Julian!” Rebecca yelled. “What!” he yelled back. “Get in here!” “Alright,” Julian yelled back then he turned his attention back to Eve, “Alright, I must go, you know the way out, and I’ll let you escort yourself out.” Eve paused momentarily before she finally left. Julian laughed when he walked on to the scene that was being played out between Rebecca and Ivy. Ivy was clinging onto the banister as Rebecca was trying to pull her off. “Alright, Rebecca I’ll take it from here, go to bed,” Julian said. “No I want to see her get kicked out,” Rebecca protested. “Rebecca please you’ve had a long day, go to bed, and I’ll see you tomorrow morning,” Julian reasoned as he kissed Rebecca on the forehead. Rebecca pouted but then she slowly headed up stairs. Julian waited until he saw her walk into her room before he said anything. “So you’re going to try to throw me out now,” Ivy said. “No,” Julian said. “Well you’re not… no?” “Yes that’s right no, I’m not going to throw you out. Well you can go to your room now.” I won Ivy thought as she smiled, but her smile quickly faded. She had forgotten that there was stairs up to her room, and she was in a wheel chair. “I can’t,” Ivy chocked out. Julian’s heart melted as he noticed just a hint of sadness, Julian suddenly felt sort of sorry for Ivy. Well he could help her just for today anyway. So Julian reached down to pick Ivy up, when she backed away. “What are you doing?” Ivy asked. “I’m going to help you get up to your room.” Normally Ivy would have said she could do it herself, but this time she knew she couldn’t. “Alright.” Julian bent down and placed one arm behind her back and another under her knees. “Alright put your arms around my neck.” Ivy hesitated but then obliged. Then with a little effort he managed to get Ivy up to her room, and gently placed her on her bed. “Can you get my wheelchair?” Ivy asked. “Alright, I guess.” Minutes later Julian returned with the wheelchair. “I’m not doing that again,” Julian said as he tried to slow his breathing, “It’s to heavy.” Ivy chuckled, as she watched Julian wipe his brow. “You alright?” Julian asked and Ivy nodded, “well goodnight, then.” With that said Julian left Ivy alone. ~*~ “Ohh, I locked that I’ll unlock it later today,” Julian answered. “Alright, I want to redecorate in their sometime today,” Rebecca said, “that reminds me, the wedding has been postponed the minister got sick.” Thank god, Julian prayed silently. THUMP!! “What was that?” Rebecca asked. Ivy, Julian thought. “I’ll go check you just stay here,” Julian answered. Julian calmly walked out of the room, but then frantically ran up the stairs. “Ivy?” Julian whispered through the door. There was no answer. Oh no Julian thought. “Ivy are you alright?” he whispered again. Still no answer. Quickly Julian took out a credit card and slides it between the door and the doorframe. Click, the lock slides open, and Julian peeked into the room. There was Ivy lying on the floor. “Ivy?” Julian ran over to her. Ivy slowly opened her eyes, and looked around. “Julian what are you doing here?” Ivy asked. “I heard you fall and I came to check on you.” Julian answered. Julian gently picked Ivy up and placed her in her wheel chair. “Thank you,” Ivy said. “Do you need anything?” “No I can do it myself, thank you.” “Alright, well I have to go goodbye, darling.” “What?” “Sorry old habits die hard.” ~*~ “Julian what was it?” Rebecca asked when he returned to the table. “A picture fell.” “Well that’s an outrage.” “It’s alright I’ll get someone to put a new nail in the wall and the picture will be back up.”
